Pre & Post Care

Discontinue the following 5–7 days prior:

• Retinols
• Glycolic acid
• Other photosensitizing products

Do NOT treat if you have:

• Active acne (may cause spreading)
• Cold sores
• Open wounds
• Other irritated or infected skin conditions

Avoid recent sun exposure:

• No sunburn or suntan prior to treatment

Avoid injectable treatments for at least 2 weeks prior, including:

• Dermal fillers
• Sculptra
• Kybella
• Neurotoxin injections

• Do NOT apply anything to the skin except provider-directed products.
• Avoid touching your face.
• Sleep on a clean pillowcase.
• Avoid:
• Sun exposure
• Saunas or heated environments (e.g., hot yoga)
• Exercise that causes excessive heat or sweating

Avoid for 1 week:

• Retinols
• Manual or chemical exfoliation

Be mindful of sun exposure for 1–2 weeks:

• Use daily sunscreen
• Continue long-term sun protection
